Everything on this website is general educational information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation for you specifically, and it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a licensed clinician who knows your history.

Reading this site, sending us a message, or booking an appointment does not by itself create a clinician and patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are evaluated by our clinician and accepted as a patient.

Who we can treat

Our clinicians are licensed in Florida. In-person care is provided at our Port St. Lucie office, and telehealth visits are available only when you are physically located in Florida at the time of the visit. Some services, including vitamin injections and testosterone therapy for women, are provided in our office only, and testosterone therapy for men begins with an in-person visit.

Appointments and cancellations

Visits are by appointment. You may book through our online scheduling system or by calling or texting 561-277-0936.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee, which allows us to keep that time available for other patients. We will tell you the amount of any fee before it is charged.

Prices, payment, and insurance

Prices shown on this site are current as of the effective date above and may change. The price that applies to you is the price quoted at the time you book or are seen. Payment is due at the time of service unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept insurance for primary care and sick visits. Weight loss, hormone therapy, and vitamin injections are self-pay and are not billed to insurance. Laboratory fees are billed separately by the laboratory, except where a service description states that follow-up labs are included.

Membership

The concierge membership is a direct agreement between you and Luma Family Health. It is not insurance, it does not meet any requirement to carry health coverage, and visits covered by the membership are not billed to insurance. Membership terms, including what is covered and how to cancel, are set out in the written membership agreement you sign at enrollment, and that agreement controls if anything here conflicts with it.

Medications and compounded products

All prescriptions are written only after an individual medical evaluation and only when a clinician judges the treatment appropriate for you.

Some medications we prescribe, including weight loss and hormone therapies, are compounded. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and have not been reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are not FDA-approved products. NAD+ injections are also not FDA-approved products. We will discuss what that means for you before anything is prescribed.

Results are not guaranteed

Individual results vary. Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome, and any description of what patients commonly experience is not a prediction of what you will experience.

Telehealth

Telehealth visits carry some limitations compared with being seen in person, including the fact that a clinician cannot physically examine you. If your clinician determines that a visit needs to happen in person, we will tell you and arrange it. You will be asked to consent to telehealth separately before your first video visit.

Communicating with us

Phone, text, and email are answered during our working hours and are not monitored continuously. Do not use them for urgent medical concerns. Standard text and email are not secure, so please keep them to scheduling and general questions rather than medical detail.

Using this website

You agree not to use this site to break the law, to interfere with how the site works, to attempt to gain access to any system or account that is not yours, or to copy or scrape the site for commercial use. We may suspend access to the site at any time, for any reason, including maintenance.

Our content

The text, design, layout, images, and other content on this site are owned by Luma Family Health or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction or republication, requires our written permission.

Links to other sites

This site links to our online scheduling system and may link to other outside resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to this website or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you agree to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
