Hormone therapy for women
Estradiol Therapy for Women in Port St. Lucie, FL
You're not imagining it, and you don't have to wait it out.
Hot flashes. Night sweats. Sleep that fell apart somewhere along the way. Less patience, more fog, and a body that no longer answers the way it used to. Far too many women are told this is simply part of it and sent home.
Estradiol therapy treats the hormone shift underneath all of it. We look at your symptoms and your bloodwork together, and we keep adjusting until you feel like yourself again.
From $160 each time you refill, including your follow-up visit, your medication, and your follow-up labs. You pay for your initial bloodwork only.

Your options
Not everyone needs the same prescription.
Some women need estradiol, some need progesterone, some need both, and some feel better with a little testosterone added. What we prescribe depends on your symptoms, your history, and whether you still have your uterus.
Estradiol
The main estrogen we prescribe. It addresses hot flashes, night sweats, broken sleep, vaginal dryness, and the mood and memory changes that come with the transition. $160 each refill.
Estradiol with progesterone
If you still have your uterus, progesterone goes alongside estradiol to protect the uterine lining. Priced together at $190 rather than as two prescriptions.
Progesterone on its own
Sometimes it's the whole answer, especially for sleep and the cycle changes of perimenopause. $160 each refill. More on progesterone.
Testosterone for women
Low-dose testosterone can help with libido, energy, and mental clarity. We handle it in our Port St. Lucie office, as a cream at $160 or an in-office injection at $140.
Follow-up labs included
After your initial bloodwork, every lab we run is part of your refill price. Rechecking shouldn't cost you more each time.
A dose that gets adjusted
The first prescription is a starting point. It usually takes a refill or two of adjusting before you feel like yourself again.

Good to know
What we want you to know going in.
- If you still have your uterus, estrogen comes with progesterone. That pairing protects the uterine lining, and it's priced together rather than as two prescriptions.
- We go through your history together. Breast cancer, blood clots, stroke, or certain liver conditions change whether this is the right choice, so we talk all of it through before anything is prescribed.
- Your prescription is made for you. A licensed pharmacy compounds it individually, which means it isn't FDA-approved the way a drug off the shelf is.
- Dosing takes some adjusting. Give it a refill or two before everything settles.
- How you feel counts as much as your bloodwork. We listen to both, not just the numbers.
- Perimenopause counts. You don't have to wait until your periods stop to be helped.

Questions, answered.
What does hormone therapy cost?
Estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone cream are $160 each time you refill. Estradiol and progesterone together are $190. The testosterone injection is $140 and is given in our office. Every price includes your follow-up visit, your medication, and your follow-up labs.
Do I need bloodwork before starting?
Your first visit decides that. When labs are useful we order them, and the lab bills you for your initial bloodwork separately. Every lab after that is included in your refill price.
Do I need progesterone too?
If you still have your uterus, yes. Progesterone protects the uterine lining when you're taking estrogen, so the two go together. That combination is $190 rather than two separate charges.
Do I have to come into the office?
For estradiol and progesterone, no. Those work by video anywhere in Florida and ship to your door. Testosterone for women, whether cream or injection, is handled in our Port St. Lucie office.
Can I start in perimenopause?
Yes. You don't have to wait until your periods stop to be taken seriously. Perimenopause symptoms often begin years earlier, and they're very treatable.
How long before I feel different?
Sleep and hot flashes usually improve first, often within a few weeks. Mood, energy, and libido take longer, and they often need a dose adjustment along the way.
Can I use insurance or my membership?
No. Hormone therapy is self-pay, and it isn't part of the Luma membership.
