Weight loss
Semaglutide for Weight Loss in Port St. Lucie, FL
Steady progress, with someone watching the whole way.
Most people have tried. Cutting back, eating better, moving more, and getting nowhere, or getting somewhere and watching it come back. Semaglutide works on the signals your body uses to tell you you've had enough, and most people describe the constant thinking about food finally going quiet.
We start with a full evaluation, choose your dose for you, and adjust it based on how you're doing. Visits happen at our Port St. Lucie office or by video, and your medication ships to your door either way.
From $199 every time you refill, including your follow-up visit and that month of medication. No subscription and nothing charges on its own.

How it works
What semaglutide actually does.
It's a GLP-1 medication, which means it works on appetite and fullness rather than on your metabolism directly.
Food noise gets quieter
The running commentary about what's next to eat tends to settle. For most people that's the change that makes everything else possible.
You feel full sooner
It slows how quickly your stomach empties, so meals satisfy you sooner and keep you satisfied longer.
The dose steps up slowly
You start low and move up over time. Going slowly is what keeps side effects manageable, so we take our time with it.
One injection a week
A small shot you give yourself at home. We'll walk you through it, and most people feel comfortable within a dose or two.
Habits still matter
The medication makes eating differently much easier, though it doesn't do it for you. We'll talk about protein, movement, and sleep as part of your plan.
Someone reviews every refill
Each refill is tied to a follow-up visit, so your progress and side effects get looked at before the next month goes out.
Pricing

Good to know
What we want you to know going in.
- Your medication is made for you. It's compounded by a licensed pharmacy from your individual prescription, which means it isn't FDA-approved the way a drug off the shelf is. We'll walk you through what that means at your visit.
- Most side effects are manageable. Nausea and early fullness are the common ones, usually in the few days after a dose increase, and they settle for most people as your body adjusts.
- We move at your pace. If a dose is hard on you, we hold you there until you're comfortable. There's no schedule you have to keep up with.
- We check your history first. A few things make this the wrong choice, including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, pregnancy, and certain pancreatic conditions. We go through all of it together before you start.
- We want you to keep your muscle. Losing weight well means protein and some strength work, and we'll help you build that into your plan.
- You're never locked in. You book each refill yourself, so you can slow down, pause, or stop whenever you'd like, and nothing charges on its own.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
What does semaglutide cost?
Between $199 and $299 every time you refill, depending on the dose your provider has you on. That covers your follow-up visit and that month of medication together. Nothing charges automatically.
How is this different from the brand-name products?
Brand-name products are FDA-approved medications made by their manufacturers. What we prescribe is compounded semaglutide, made by a licensed pharmacy for one patient at a time. Compounded medication hasn't been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and it isn't the same as an approved product.
Do I have to come into the office?
Not for this one. You're welcome at our Port St. Lucie office, and video visits work from anywhere in Florida. Either way your medication ships to your door.
How fast will I lose weight?
It varies quite a bit from person to person. Most people see steady change over months rather than weeks, and we go over your progress at every follow-up.
What are the side effects?
Usually nausea, feeling full early, constipation, or reflux, and they're strongest in the days after a dose increase. Please tell us early, so we can adjust before it becomes miserable.
Do I need labs before I start?
Sometimes. Whether you need bloodwork first depends on your history, and your provider decides that at your visit. If we order labs, the lab bills you separately.
Can I use insurance or my membership?
No. Weight loss medication is self-pay, and it isn't part of the Luma membership.
