Hormone therapy for men
Testosterone Therapy for Men in Port St. Lucie, FL
Feel like yourself again.
Tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. Foggy by mid-afternoon. Not as strong as you were, shorter on patience, less interested in sex. It's easy to put all of it down to getting older, and sometimes that's exactly what it is. Bloodwork and an honest conversation will tell us whether testosterone is part of the story.
$200 each refill. That's your medication, your follow-up visit, and the labs we run while you're on treatment. Your initial bloodwork is billed separately.

What's included
We test first, treat second, and keep checking.
Here's what comes with treatment, start to finish.
Bloodwork before anything else
Your initial bloodwork tells us whether testosterone is really the issue, and gives us a baseline to measure everything against later.
Your symptoms count too
How you feel matters as much as the number on the page. Plenty of men sit squarely in the normal range and still don't feel like themselves.
Labs after the first set are covered
You pay for your initial bloodwork up front. Every lab we run after that is part of the $200.
Your dose is yours
We adjust what you're taking, and add anything else you need, based on your bloodwork and how you're feeling.
Medication comes to you
After your first visit, your prescription ships to your door, along with instructions for giving it yourself.
We keep adjusting
Your dose changes as your bloodwork changes, so your treatment keeps up with you.
Pricing
What it costs.
Testosterone therapy is one price every time you refill. Your initial bloodwork is the only separate charge.

Initial bloodwork

Testosterone therapy is self-pay and isn't part of the Luma membership. What your insurance covers for lab work depends on your plan.
Good to know
What we want you to know going in.
- Your first visit is in person. We do the exam and order your initial bloodwork at our Port St. Lucie office.
- Tell us about family plans. Testosterone can affect fertility, so if you're trying for kids now or think you might later, let us know and we'll plan around it.
- We keep an eye on more than testosterone. Your red blood cell count and a few other markers get checked along the way, which is how we keep treatment safe for you.
- Low testosterone isn't always the answer. Thyroid, sleep, stress, and some medications cause the same symptoms. If that's what we find, we'll tell you and help you from there.
- Some of what we prescribe is compounded. That means a licensed pharmacy prepares it from your individual prescription, so it isn't FDA-approved the way a drug off the shelf is.
- Everyone responds differently. Changes come on gradually, and we adjust your plan as we see how you're feeling.
How it works
What testosterone therapy looks like, month to month.
Come in and talk
We'll talk through what's been going on, your medical history, and whether testosterone therapy is likely to help, then order your initial bloodwork.
Read your labs together
We'll go over what the numbers mean in plain language, and whether treatment makes sense for you.
Start treatment
If it's a fit, we set your dose and your medication ships to your house with instructions.
Check in and adjust
Follow-up visits and bloodwork show how it's working, and we adjust from there.
Is this right for you
Who testosterone therapy tends to help.
Worth getting checked if you
- Feel tired, foggy, weaker, or less interested in sex, and it's been going on a while
- Want someone to look at the whole picture, not one lab value
- Don't mind getting bloodwork at the start and periodically after that
- Want a dose that's adjusted for you rather than the same plan for everyone
- Can get to our Port St. Lucie or Greenacres office for the first visit
Tell us first if you
- Are trying to have kids, or think you might want to later
- Have had prostate or breast cancer, a high PSA, or trouble urinating
- Have had blood clots, heart trouble, or a high red blood cell count
- Have sleep apnea that isn't being treated
- Take something that might not mix well with testosterone
None of these are automatic no's. Usually they just mean a little more testing first, or a conversation with your other doctor, before we decide together.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
Do I have to come into the office?
Your first visit, yes. That one's in person at our Port St. Lucie office. After that, follow-ups can be done by video from anywhere in Florida, and your medication ships to your house.
What does it cost?
$200 every time you refill. That covers your medication, your follow-up visit, and the labs we run while you're on treatment. Your initial bloodwork is billed separately.
Do I need bloodwork before starting?
Yes. We won't prescribe testosterone without it. We read your initial bloodwork alongside what you've been feeling, and if testosterone isn't the problem, we'll tell you what we think is going on instead.
Are the follow-up labs really included?
Yes. You pay for your initial bloodwork, and every lab we run after that is part of the $200. We check often enough to make sure treatment stays safe for you.
How fast will I feel a difference?
It depends on the person. Changes usually come on gradually, and we track how you're doing at your follow-ups so we can adjust your dose.
Can I use my membership for this?
No. Testosterone therapy is self-pay and isn't part of the Luma membership. What your insurance covers for lab work depends on your plan.
What if I need to cancel?
Just give us 24 hours when you can. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged a fee, since that slot could have gone to someone else.
