Weight loss
Tirzepatide for Weight Loss in Port St. Lucie, FL
Two signals instead of one.
If you've been on semaglutide and the scale stopped moving, or it never moved much to begin with, tirzepatide is usually the next conversation. It works on two gut hormone pathways instead of one.
The approach is the same either way: a full evaluation, a dose chosen for you, and someone adjusting it as you go. Visits at our Port St. Lucie office or by video, with medication shipped to your door.
From $299 every time you refill, including your follow-up visit and that month of medication. No subscription and nothing charges on its own.

How it works
What the second pathway changes.
Semaglutide acts on GLP-1. Tirzepatide acts on GLP-1 and GIP, so it's working on two appetite and metabolic signals at once.
Two pathways, not one
That second signal is the main difference between these two medications, and it's why tirzepatide is a common next step.
A common step after a plateau
If semaglutide stopped helping, or never quite did enough, switching is a reasonable next conversation. Individual results vary.
The dose steps up carefully
You start at the lowest dose and move up over time. Moving slowly is what keeps side effects manageable.
One injection a week
A small shot you give yourself at home. We'll show you how, and it becomes routine quickly.
Useful alongside blood sugar issues
Many people on this are managing weight and blood sugar at the same time, and we look after both together.
Reviewed before every refill
Dose changes are made by a provider who has looked at how you're doing, rather than on a fixed schedule.
Pricing
What tirzepatide costs.
One price every time you refill, covering your follow-up visit and that month of medication together. Your provider sets your dose at your visit, and the price moves with it.

| Second step | $299 |
| Third step | $349 |
| Fourth step | $399 |

Good to know
What we want you to know going in.
- Your medication is made for you. It's compounded by a licensed pharmacy from your individual prescription, which means it isn't FDA-approved the way a drug off the shelf is. We'll walk you through what that means at your visit.
- Most side effects are manageable. Nausea and early fullness are the common ones, usually in the few days after a dose increase, and they settle for most people as your body adjusts.
- A higher dose isn't automatically better. Many people do beautifully without ever reaching the top of the range, and we only move up when there's a reason to.
- We check your history first. A few things make this the wrong choice, including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, pregnancy, and certain pancreatic conditions. We go through all of it together before you start.
- We look after your muscle, not just the scale. Protein and some strength work are part of the plan from the beginning.
- You set the pace. You book each refill, so you can hold at a dose, pause, or stop whenever you'd like, and nothing renews on its own.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
What does tirzepatide cost?
Between $299 and $499 every time you refill, depending on the dose your provider has you on. That covers your follow-up visit and that month of medication together.
How is this different from the brand-name products?
Brand-name products are FDA-approved medications made by their manufacturers. What we prescribe is compounded tirzepatide, made by a licensed pharmacy for one patient at a time. Compounded medication hasn't been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and it isn't the same as an approved product.
Should I pick tirzepatide or semaglutide?
Tirzepatide works on two pathways where semaglutide works on one, and semaglutide starts at a lower price. Your history, your goals, and how your body handles it will decide which one makes sense, and we'll talk it through at your visit.
Can I switch over from semaglutide?
Many people do. It isn't a straight dose swap, so we choose your starting tirzepatide dose at your visit based on where you are now.
Do I have to come into the office?
Not for this one. You're welcome at our Port St. Lucie office, and video visits work from anywhere in Florida. Either way your medication ships to your door.
What are the side effects?
Usually nausea, early fullness, constipation, or reflux, worst in the days after a dose increase. Tell us early so we can slow the pace down.
Can I use insurance or my membership?
No. Weight loss medication is self-pay, and it isn't part of the Luma membership.
